RESTORING DIGNITY. REBUILDING LIVES.
Walking With Those in Need—Every Step of the Way.
For over 25 years, our foundation has walked alongside individuals and families in need—helping them find a path forward through practical resources and a strong sense of community.
We are a faith-based, community-driven foundation committed to serving those most in need. Our mission is to walk with underserved individuals and families—helping them navigate life’s challenges, access essential services, and experience the power of belonging. Through housing, mental health support, justice reentry, and other holistic programs, we stand as a beacon of hope and restoration.
Who We Serve
Aging Adults
Florence Gardens Senior Community has served seniors for over 25 years, providing safe, affordable housing for low-income residents. Our beautiful campus offers more than just a place to live—residents find friendship, purpose, and peace of mind through weekly church services, shared meals, free groceries, and community activities. We help seniors live independently with dignity and joy.
Individuals in Need of Mental Health Support
Mental health struggles can feel isolating—but no one has to face them alone. We offer peer-led support groups where individuals find understanding, connection, and tools for growth. Our safe spaces foster emotional healing and community, guided by compassion and peer experience.
Migrant Families
Navigating life in a new country can be hard—especially with language barriers and limited access to services. We support migrant individuals and families with ESL resources, basic needs navigation, and a welcoming, inclusive community that feels like home.
Individuals with Special Needs
Families caring for children or adults with special needs receive vital respite care and holistic developmental support through our programs. We help nurture physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth, while giving caregivers the relief and resources they need.
Single Mothers
Pregnancy and motherhood can be overwhelming—especially when faced alone. We support single mothers through birth equity programs, emotional support groups, resource navigation, and tangible aid. Whether you're expecting or raising children, you’re not alone—we walk with you every step of the way.
At-Risk Youth
We invest in the next generation by walking with youth who face instability, poverty, broken homes, or life on the margins. Through mentorship, leadership development, and access to supportive services, we help at-risk youth build confidence, discover purpose, and pursue a hopeful future.
Housing Navigation
Covenant Foundation helps individuals and families in Bakersfield navigate pathways out of homelessness. Our housing navigation services connect people with emergency shelters, transitional housing, and long-term solutions.
Justice-Involved Individuals
Reentering life after incarceration is challenging—but hope is possible. We support returning citizens and their families with resources, mentoring, and community connections that promote healing and rebuild futures. Every person deserves a second chance—and a strong foundation to begin again.
Domestic Violence Survivors
We stand with survivors. We offer advocacy, emotional support, and connections to safe housing and legal aid for those fleeing or recovering from domestic violence. Your safety, healing, and future matter deeply to us—and we’ll help you move forward with dignity.
Human Trafficking Prevention
We believe that the best way to fight human trafficking is to stop it before it starts. Through community education, youth mentoring, and strong partnerships with local organizations, we work to identify and protect those most vulnerable to exploitation. By raising awareness, we are actively preventing trafficking and standing against injustice in Bakersfield and beyond.
Children and Youth Experiencing Foster Care
Covenant Foundation is committed to standing in the gap for foster children and youth who too often face life without stability, advocacy, or consistent support. We provide mentorship, spiritual guidance, and access to community resources that help foster youth feel seen, valued, and empowered. By nurturing trust and belonging, we walk with them toward healing and hope—reminding each one that they are not forgotten.
